The logo consists of three letters, HRT, an acronym of the name of the broadcasting corporation, which are joined to form a whole and a visual representation, which can be easily recognized and registered The two red squares, which appear at the base of the letter “T”, are the basic code for the national identity of Croatia and were taken from the Croatian historic coat of arms. They are the basic visual foundations. The fundamental identity developed out of the organisation of the HRT. Each change of colour of the squares represents a different organisation unit. Blue is for television, black for radio, and white for joint services. Where necessary, one also has the full name of the HRT. As the most featured part of the HRT, the identity of Croatian Television was developed based on its three channels, whose numbers also appear with the visual code or can be used independently. The HRT identity is applied to all forms of media communication, paper and electromagnetics. In the media, the two squares can be animated. The basic identity is defined by the Graphic Standards Manual and must be respected. Result: - As a public electronic media, Croatia Radio and Television's fundamental social role is to inform, educate and entertain the citizens of Croatia. The HRT also plays a significant role in shaping the awareness of the Republic of Croatia and the way in which it is constituted. The HRT is market-oriented and economically active at home and abroad. The HRT is a member of international associations and is open to co-operation and competition. In all such the visual identity clearly represents the complex wholeness and unity of this broadcasting corporation.
