Pamela Zuccker is a partner and co-founder of Principle, a multidisciplinary design agency. She splits her time between the U.S. and la belle Province of Quebec where she’s developed an ear for the French she was never taught in school. Together with her partner, Allyson Lack, the two have created dynamic brand communications, identities and packaging for a diverse range of clients including Chronicle Books, Napastyle, Paddywax, and Larson-Juhl. Her work has been consistently recognized by such international design forums as Communication Arts, Print, Step and the American Institute of Graphic Arts. In their 2006 Business Annual, How Magazine cited Principle as one of five model design firms, emphasizing Principle’s success at bridging the distance in a geographically diverse business model. In 2007, she was also named among Graphic Design USA’s “People to Watch”.Pamela graduated with a BFA from the University of Michigan and continued her design studies at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta. She began her design discipline at Rigsby Design in Houston, working with clients such as Dell and International Paper where her responsibilities ranged from conceptual development to design to highly crafted production. Prior to establishing Principle in 2004, Pamela ran her own design office landing national work that spanned book design to advertising. Outside the office, she serves as a portfolio advisor to senior design students, has juried international design competitions and is a past board member of the AIGA, Houston. Pamela is continually inspired by her travels—most recently crossing borders to Buenos Aires and Sicily. www.designbyprinciple.com [ back ] |
